Invoice lines
Grey columns are worked out. The two white ones are yours: the round Including GST price, and the Selling price on the shelf. Type in either and it is kept — nothing is recomputed over the top of a price you decided.
Paste the invoice table, or choose a CSV or text file. Copying straight out of a PDF or a spreadsheet works — the figures come across exactly, because nothing is being recognised, only split into columns.
PDF is read exactly: the file already contains its characters, so the figures are the ones the supplier typed. CSV, spreadsheet and pasted text the same. Photographs and scans are read by character recognition, which is a guess at every digit — those come through marked, with the doubtful figures pointed out, and want checking line by line. Product photos are still added by hand with the + in the photo column.
Landed cost is the unit cost plus its share of every fee. Selling price is worked from that, so a fee can never be quietly left out of a price.
